Feed Your Skin: Red Kiwi #INNISFREE

So, I have heard a lot about K-Beauty and decided to give it a try. And when i did some google search i came across Innisfree. Apparently it is a very famous brand among all the K-Beauties. So decided to try their capsule Face Mask as it was the cheapest one :-P. I wanted to get something that i can use for a few times to see the results rather than just one-time off face mask. 

The lady who attended to me was very helpful and friendly. (I went to the outlet in Sogo). She asked me what are my concerns and all and then suggested me this Red Kiwi.

The package looks small like this and it can be used for about 4-5 times. The texture is white in colour and you will be able to see a bit of kiwi seeds as well. and the kiwi smell is also there hence i believe it is the real fruit and not just chemicals only.

I actually love how my skin feels after applying this mask. I see fresh and glowing skin. However, while using it is a bit oily, so not so good for those of you who don't like oily stuffs on your skin. It is definitely a repurchase for me as i love the results on me. But i bought a few other face mask as well. Can't wait to try them. Maybe that ones works better on me :-P

Since i have so many wedding coming up in the family, I've decided to post about some pre-wedding rituals in a Sri Lankan (ceylonese) wedding. It is also called as ponnuruku and the gold that is used to take the thali is melted at the bridegroom's house. Apparently this is an essential ceremony and it cannot be skipped. Why Does A Ceylonese Bride Wear A Veil?

So, why does a Ceylonese bride wear a veil? I myself don't know much about the tradition. I wasn't even aware of this until a few posts came up on Facebook. I don't any reason behind all the tradition that happens in a Ceylonese wedding. In a typical Ceylon wedding, the grooms sits on the manavarai (Canopy) through out the wedding. The brides comes in after the "rakshabandham" of the groom. Trust me, i don't even know what the hell is this. So apparently the bride and groom cannot see each other until he (groom) hands the bride her "Koorai" saree (wedding saree). That is the reason why a Ceylon bride wears a veil. The whole cost of the wedding falls under the bride's responsibility. Remember my earlier post about the gold melting ceremony? That is purely the responsibility of the groom's side. Feed Your Skin: Facial Treatment Essence #SK-ii

I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price. but after using it i understand why it's this pricey!  I have used few small bottles (10ml) and in the midst of one 75ML bottle. I have more than half a bottle left and i used it daily (night time).  I am very stingy with my usage, i use only 2 to 3 drops which is sufficient enough to cover my whole face and neck.
