Make up #22 [Lips]: Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick in M455

Image
Wanted to try different shades of Lakme and i found this while i was scrolling Lazada. Decided to purchase it. Somehow the look differs from what they showed in Lazada. I felt the shade was darker when i got them. However, i was not going to waste my money like that and decided to wear it to work and give it a try. To my surprise, my colleagues all said it was actually nice. It is something different that what i always use to work. I also did feel okay. It looks dark but it actually suited and gave me a different look. but i'll have to appy this colour lightly. Not few swipes darker like how i usually apply as this shade itself is already dark. It will not be a repurchase for me as i would like to get different shades in this range once this colour finishes. Place Bought: Lazada Price: RM 25.50

Feed Your Skin: Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask #Innisfree

Image
This Mask is just pure love i tell you! I was skeptical about this at first but i tried a few samples of the clay mask and felt totally for it. However, i felt that the texture is a bit hard hence i purchase this clay mousse mask because it is bit in the wet/damp side. I have oily skin hence i purchased the 'super' one. It comes in 100ML bottle with a tiny closing cap. Just one pump is more than enough to cover your face and neck. I let the mask sit for about 15 minutes and you can feel the mask drying off; it will get hard. rm 80.00 Once i washed the mask off, my face felt very fresh and clean. You can actually see your face so clear. It also makes my skin soft and cool. It is advised to use this mask 1-2 times a week. I prefer to use during the weekend and mid of the week as my work nature is such that i travel out for meetings a sometimes and i am exposed to sunlight and dusts. A small piece of advice; Do not use the same mask everyday. Have a few types of masks an...

Make up #20 [Face]: Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Souffle

Image
As you all know, I am a huge Lakme fan. I was just scrolling Lakme in Lazada Malaysia and i came across this foundation. Before purchasing it, i actually read a few reviews and then i decided to get it. I got the shade in Natural Shell . I am currently using Lakme Absolute Foundation in Beige Honey. But you know, you always want to try something different ;-P. This colour suits my skin and i love how it sets into my skin. The smell that certain reviews claims is not that bad actually. After a while you won't be able to get the smell. This foundation blends in so smoothly. And the staying power is also okay. I mean we all have to touch up powders right? It comes in a very small bottle. The packaging looks nice. No complaints.  Definitely a repurchase as it suits me and for the price, it is reasonable for a every day foundation wear to work. Place Bought: Lazada Malaysia Seller: Lakme Price: RM 22.50 (P/S: Of course it is way cheaper in India==> 160RS only)

Make up #19 [Eyes]: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal In Turquoise

Image
I have previously gotten the lakme range of blue and turquoise but i did not so like it as the colour was not striking out. But this glitter/shimmering range does wonder. So lovely it looks on my skin. It is obviously slightly expensive than the deep black. I bough mine in Lulu Mall, Cochin and i should have gotten the Royal Blue as well. I was so skeptical when i bought it so just went ahead and bought only one colour. I actually wore a turquoise dress to a party recently just to try this eyeliner. LOL. Image not mine I only use the turquoise on my upper lid and black for my lower lid. It actually looks good. I did not look like a clown. LOL. Next round i should try turquoise on my lower lid. The eyeliner did not face or smudge throughout the night. So in love with is turquoise eyeline. A yes for a repurchase!

Odeon: Almond and Apricot Body Scrub

Image
Ok, I have seen this brand of body scrubs and shampoos in most of the Indian stores that i walked in to. They were having sales during the Mid Valley Indian Global Fair. So, I grabbed a body scrub and a shampoo. Just to give it a try. The sales girl that attended to me was super friendly and helpful. Forgot her name. Sorry girl. She suggested me this almond and apricot scrub since i have an oily skin. This scrub does wonders to my skin. My skin feels so soft after using this scrub. There's no need to apply lotion after using this scrub. But yeah, you only scrub yourself once a week. Rest of the days, you'll have to apply lotion. LOL. There's so many flavours to suit your skin. This Almond and Apricot does wonder to me. Definitely a yes for a repurchase! However, got a shampoo from this brand as well, Unfortunately, the shampoo did not suit me. It made my hair rough. Probably Should try some shampoo from the same brand.

Kerala Root #Hair

Image
One of my friend asked me to get her this root from kerala when i was visiting the city. So i got one for myself as well. It is just mixed roots in a bottle. Apparently you can reuse this for about 5-6 times. Also, be careful of the prices. I bought them a in a few different places and the prices varies. I bought for 100, 60 and 40 Rupees!!! It comes in both glass and plastic bottles. Mixed Roots It comes like the picture above and we have to soak in in coconut oil. As in our coconut oil in the bottle with the roots. Apparently we have to leave it soak for a week and the oil will turn red. Mine turned red within that day itself and apparently it will. LOL. But they say the longer you let the roots soak is better so i waited a week before i applied it on my hair. The oil turns red in colour  You can leave this oil on you for an hour but i prefer to let it soak on me longer. My hair does feel a lot softer once i wash it off. But it really takes a lot of scrubbing and sh...

Nose Piercing

Always loved getting my nose pierced. It actually mentally took me a year to prepare myself to go through the pain. Only to find out that it was not as bad as i thought it will be. I always used this sticker stud before getting my nose pierced. That however, will fall off whenever i accidentally rub my nose forgetting that i have a sticker stud on me. So i got my nose pierced two days back. It all happened very fast. Experienced Indian goldsmith what you do expect? duh. I chose my stud. Did not want a big one as i know i will need time to get used to this permanent piercing on me. Then the goldsmith came, sprayed on my nose and wala he poked my skin and screwed the nose stud. This whole piercing happened within 3 minutes! It was a bearable pain. It only pain for two days that too also only when i meddled with it. Apparently, i will have to keep on twisting it so that i doesn't get stuck on my skin. Anyway, i am loving it! I will now get addicted to nose studs and shop for mor...

Kerala 2017

Image
Kerala was really pure love. Immediately felt in love with the city and culture.Went with a cousin of mine. Just the two of us so it made our trip very much easier and less stressful because we were both 'cincai' people. We landed in cochin then we went straight to Munnar. Oh God i must say the journey was really terrible. The winding roads. But when we reached our hotel, it was totally worth the journey. Beautiful hotel, Beautiful place and friendly hotel staffs. Perfect service. We stay in The Leaf Resort, Munnar. However, on the way we stopped by Periyar Garden Spice and bought ourselves some Ayurveda products. THE LEAF RESORT, MUNNAR   our standard deluxe room We spend our first two days in Munnar. We went to the famous Kannan Devan Tea Estate. I am a coffee-tea toodler so i enjoy all flavours of tea. We also bought a personalise mug. The staffs actually took us to the tea estate area to snap a picture of us and made a mug for us. We also went for t...

Sadhguru In Malaysia

Image
I was just standing meters away from him. So much of energy in him.  Ok this is my first time sitting and watching his talk show life. If I am not mistaken this is his first time in Malaysia as well. For the past one year I have been watching his videos and I must say it did make me feel better and it was an eye opener for me.  I have no regrets and complaints attending his show. In fact, I will definitely attend his future shows. After watching clips of his Isha Foundation in India, I am definitely going to make a trip there one day! For Sure. Also, on a particular celebration like Maha Shivrathri. My god. What a celebration. From the video clips shown itself i was so teary. It is a must and i will celebrate Maha Shivrathri there one fine day.  Anyway Sadhguru for me a modern guru. A guru that i want and was looking for. Not a word about religion or going to temple. Or even fasting. Also, I am very happy that I bought his Inner Engineering book yesterday at ...

Make up #15 [Eyes]: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Green

Image
Hey, back to review my favourite makeup brand! I don't know I am the only one who feels that the Lakme eyeconic kajal in green is blue in colour? Am I? I find the Blue one is too dark and this green shade is just the perfect blue. I have all Lakme eyeconic colours except for brown. Again i feel that their brown is too dark. The staying power is just the same as all their eyeconic range. The only thing is it looks like blue and not green for me. Ratings and reviews are the same :-)

Confessions Of A Classical Dancer

Image
We, dancers will always perform in stages and functions and it can be just one song to a full 20-30 minutes dance drama. Yes, we do it all. We portray certain characters depends on the song given. I noticed that I have always been getting Amman songs. And you know everyone has their own favourite  god and mine happen to be Amman as well. We dancers are blessed to be able to perform this divine art. Trust me, i did not know I will love this art so much that it became a part of me.  Bharatham is a classical dance hence our songs are mostly god and traditional songs. I noticed that I prefer to portray the character of a devotee rather than the god itself. Something inside me makes me feel so much better when I be the devotee. Plus dancing is so peaceful, when you dancing describing the god, it is priceless! Only Dancers can understand and feel this.

Make up #10 [EYES]: Lakme Kajal

Image
RM 5.90 I am pretty sure you all know how much i love lakme make ups! Most of my make ups are from lakme and despite having so many eyeliners, i will still get one whenever something attracts me. Looks like i love collecting eyeliners :-P However, this Lakme eyeliner is a no. It smears down when applied on lower lid, and it smears pretty badly. I still prefer Lakme absolute ultimate kohl kajal. Hands down! And the second best for lower lid will be Lakme's eyeconic kajal. My advise is invest on other lakme eyeliners rather than this. Not getting this anymore when it finishes.  Rating: 2.5/5

Make up #9 [EYES]: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal In Blue

Image
Hey ladies! back to blog about Lakme eyeconic's kajal in Blue. I tried this on my upper lid and i feel the colour is too dark. The blue can't be seen unless someone stares at you for a very long time. One look at it, it does not look blue. The colour should have been a bit lighter. I am a lakme fanatic so, i love all their products! Especially, their absolute range. Even this eyeconic in blue, still can be used. It is just a darker shade of blue, not the revealing one. It is same as the black eyeconic kajal. Smudge proof and water proof and long lasting. Got mine from Klcc guardian again! RM.17.61 Rating: 4.5/5

Make up #6 [LIPS]: Lakme Absolute Matte Lip colour - Bridal Dream

Image
Hey ladies, today I will be writing about another lakme's lip colour on 31-Enchantress. Since, Lakme products are now available in guardians here, I have gone cuckoo. Spent a bomb on Lakme alone. All their products are very promising hence the bombing spent :-D . So yeah, back to the the lip colour. This is how it looks like. Rm 26.91 Lip colours are one item that you need to try it on before purchasing it, The colour may look weird but it will look good on your lips. ''Don't judge a book by its cover'' ladies, try it on first! I loved how this colours blends in with my skin colour. The red tone is just nice. What i like about lakme lip colours they are all long lasting, including this one. Even after a meal, I don't see a need to touch up my lipstick. Defintely a must to try colours ladies! This is how Lakme absolute matte lip colour in Bridal Dream looks on me. I don't see any disadvantage in this product hence ====> Rating: 5/5

Swami Sivanandha's Turmeric Aromatherapy Shower Cream

Image
Hey ladies! Back on 31-Enchantress, this time to write about a shower cream. I am fan of turmeric! Especially for skin. I always use kasturi manjal facepack and I have seen the difference throughout. A couple of months back, i started using kasturi manjal bathing powder as well. Yes, there is a different powder that is used for face and body. Don't mix them together. I feel my skin is soft and smooth after using kasturi manjal bathing powder. But the after smell of this bathing powder isn't that nice so i immediately bought this shower cream. And i use it after washing off my kasturi manjal bathing powder. Swami sivanandha's shower cream smells so good!! Really really good! Some of you can opt to just use this shower cream alone but I would still prefer to use my normal bathing powder as I am not sure if the turmeric in this shower cream is enough or genuine because I am really happy with y normal manjal bathing powder. Shall review about my kasturi  manjal bathing powder s...

Make up #3 [EYES]: Lakme absolute kohl ultimate

Image
Hey ladies! Good news for all Lakme fans in Malaysia. Lakme is now available in Guardian stores. WOHOOOOOO! Today I am going to review this Lakme absolute kohl ultimate . I bought mine from India and ever since I was using it with care. I made sure I used it only for important occasions. LOL.  However, now It is called kohl ultimate  kajal. It used to be just kohl ultimate . RM 53.90 It is a bit pricey though. Obviously because of tax and all that shit. but but It is totally worth it. I am so comfortable with it that i will definitely repurchase it again and again. The packaging does not come with a sharpener (the old one does). The colour s very intense and with just one stroke it is dark. It is smudge proof and it stays all day long. That is what i love about it. Eyeliners normally don't last long on my water line but this does. So bye bye to the touch ups! :-) The only disadvantage is, it is pricey and not affordable for everyone. But totally worth the purchase! Al...

It is that time of the year again

I always look forward for Diwali and christmas. Always! When i was a kid i made sure that i put up a christmas tree every year without fail until it broke and apparently that year i was very naughty so my parents decided to not get me a new christmas tree :-/ but anyhow, I always loved christmas. Deepavali is two weeks away. YAY! What comes to your mind when you hear Diwali? For me it is spending time with loved ones. And also shopping and FOOD!!! There will be so many Diwali bazaars all around and I will go cuckoo. Currently, i don't know why but I am addicted to anarkilis. Everywhere i go, the first thing I will look for is anarkilis.  When i was a kid, i will go crazy for fire crackers as well and i will force my dad to get all the crackers. I still do play with fire crackers btw but not as crazy as before. LOL ....I am more addicted to shopping now :-P If you give the choice, I will go to every bazaar and get all the anarkilis there. HA HA HA. But no I have a budget to fol...

Sri Lanka 2014

I never thought I will be saying this now but yes! I really miss Sri Lanka and I really want to go back there. I came back a week ago. Was on a tour for 10 days. The food was just simply amazing! I went to Colombo-Anuradhapura-Jaffna-Kandy-NuwaraEliya-Katargarama-Beruwala-Colombo. The hotels were also so amazing! I stayed in Earl Regent Hotel in Kandy and i fell in love with the hotel and the food. The buffet was just mindblowing! Lucky we decided to have buffet dinner that night :-) Another place which i loved was Nuwara Eliya! It is also called as little England. It was so cold that we need to switch on the heater. I also went to several historical temples in which is stated in the Epic Ramayana. I saw the place where Seeta was forced to jump into the fire, I also saw the stream in which it is believed that Seeta bathed there. In Jaffna, due to the war that happened for 20 years, so many house were bombed and left abandon. It is so sad to see all this. My native is Jaffna and I ...

Superstitions

Are you superstitious? Do you believe in it? Well, there's always a logical explanation to it but still somewhere deep down inside we still believe in it. When i was a kid, i remember my parents told me not to whistle because apparently it is bad. Also, we cannot cut our nails at night (This is believe because those days, we have limited electricity hence we might accidentally cut our finger instead if our nails) Just an assumption. Also, we were not allowed to cut our hair on Fridays. (This one i think because Friday is a holy day hence no cutting hair) I have had a hair cut on a Friday before. It is considered a bad omen when a pure black cat pass by your way. I have never experienced anything like that before *touchwood*. However, one of my friend did. Something really bad happened to her after she encountered a black cat pass in front of here. I don't know if this is just a coincidence or this black cat passing in front of you is a bad luck. Do you have any wei...

Doing it the Indian way #Beauty #Skin

Image
So finally, i am very very very free and can blog anytime i want now :-D Left Uni after 4 years and i must tell you, it is not easy when you are attached to so many people there. So yeah, coming back to the title of this post, wanted to share my face mask/face pack ingredients with all of you. I have been using this face mask for quite sometime now (I don't only depend on this, i have my daily creams as well). This face pack is not to make your complexion fairer or whatsoever it is just to get a silky skin and a glowing complexion. It works on me and i am extremely happy with the results. You'll be needing: Sandalwood powder, Kasturi Manjal, Saffron and milk. I also used rose water. Both are fine. Choose either. Let the saffron soak in the milk for about half an hour and you will see the milk turn yellow in colour. Then add in one spoon of sandalwood and turmeric make a paste out of it. Apply around your neck and face and wash it off once it dries off. I use it once everyd...
