When your become an Innisfree member, they will give you a welcome pack consisting a few green tea line of products. So, that is when i had the chance to try this face mask.

The mask comes in drenched white/clear serum. All Innisfree sheet masks are drenched with ample of serum in it. Enough to be used on your neck and legs. Yes, I take the remaining serum in the packet and just apply them on my legs. I do this to all the sheet masks.

I left the mask on for 20 minutes. My face does felt a lot fresher and cleaner like any other mask. but i did not see any out of the world difference. Also, i felt the serum takes very slow to penetrate into your skin and also my face feels oily once its dried up. I have oily skin. So i did not quite like this mask as it made my skin so greasy and sticky. 

Not a repurchase for me!

Since i have so many wedding coming up in the family, I've decided to post about some pre-wedding rituals in a Sri Lankan (ceylonese) wedding. It is also called as ponnuruku and the gold that is used to take the thali is melted at the bridegroom's house. Apparently this is an essential ceremony and it cannot be skipped. This ceremony normally occurs 5-7 days before the wedding. The groom presents the gold to the family's goldsmith to be melted in a clay pot. The bride do not participate  in this and the groom and bride from this time onwards do not see each other and they remain vegetarians until the wedding is over. Why Does A Ceylonese Bride Wear A Veil?

So, why does a Ceylonese bride wear a veil? I myself don't know much about the tradition. I wasn't even aware of this until a few posts came up on Facebook. I don't any reason behind all the tradition that happens in a Ceylonese wedding. In a typical Ceylon wedding, the grooms sits on the manavarai (Canopy) through out the wedding. The brides comes in after the "rakshabandham" of the groom. Trust me, i don't even know what the hell is this. So apparently the bride and groom cannot see each other until he (groom) hands the bride her "Koorai" saree (wedding saree). That is the reason why a Ceylon bride wears a veil. The whole cost of the wedding falls under the bride's responsibility. Remember my earlier post about the gold melting ceremony? That is purely the responsibility of the groom's side. Feed Your Skin: Facial Treatment Essence #SK-ii

I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price. but after using it i understand why it's this pricey!  I have used few small bottles (10ml) and in the midst of one 75ML bottle. I have more than half a bottle left and i used it daily (night time).  I am very stingy with my usage, i use only 2 to 3 drops which is sufficient enough to cover my whole face and neck. I prefer to use my palm to apply it rather than a facial cotton. I feel i am wasting the essence if i use a facial cotton and i need to apply more drops onto it to cover my whole face.
