Feed Your Skin: Lip Sleeping Mask #LANEIGE

After about 2 years into Korean skin care and routines, I realised that I was neglecting my lips. So I decided to give this Laneige Lip Sleeping mask a try after reading a number of reviews online. This is a lip sleeping mask hence you got to leave them overnight. 

It comes colourless and you need a tiny amount to cover your lips. This bottle can probably last about half a year to a year. or even longer! Depends on your usage. I try my best to use it every night but at times I do feel like like skipping them (out of laziness). The Lip sleeping mask comes with a little applicator.

It is like a balm effect. So you will not feel uncomfortable using this mask overnight. And trust me, you'll love how your lips look when you wake up in the morning. Your lips will feel plumply, pinkish and soft.


It is a bit on the pricey side for a lip mask but it is totally worth it. This small bottle can last about 1 year and the results is so good as well. So Hell yes for a repurchase!

P/S: I started purchasing my Korean skin care items on shopee. It comes directly from Korea and it's original! It's a lot more cheaper (50% cheaper at times)

Since i have so many wedding coming up in the family, I've decided to post about some pre-wedding rituals in a Sri Lankan (ceylonese) wedding. It is also called as ponnuruku and the gold that is used to take the thali is melted at the bridegroom's house. Apparently this is an essential ceremony and it cannot be skipped. Why Does A Ceylonese Bride Wear A Veil?

So, why does a Ceylonese bride wear a veil? I myself don't know much about the tradition. I wasn't even aware of this until a few posts came up on Facebook. I don't any reason behind all the tradition that happens in a Ceylonese wedding. In a typical Ceylon wedding, the grooms sits on the manavarai (Canopy) through out the wedding. The brides comes in after the "rakshabandham" of the groom. Trust me, i don't even know what the hell is this. So apparently the bride and groom cannot see each other until he (groom) hands the bride her "Koorai" saree (wedding saree). That is the reason why a Ceylon bride wears a veil. The whole cost of the wedding falls under the bride's responsibility. Remember my earlier post about the gold melting ceremony? That is purely the responsibility of the groom's side. Feed Your Skin: Facial Treatment Essence #SK-ii

I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price. but after using it i understand why it's this pricey!  I have used few small bottles (10ml) and in the midst of one 75ML bottle. I have more than half a bottle left and i used it daily (night time).  I am very stingy with my usage, i use only 2 to 3 drops which is sufficient enough to cover my whole face and neck. I prefer to use my palm to apply it rather than a facial cotton. I feel i am wasting the essence if i use a facial cotton and i need to apply more drops onto it to cover my whole face.
