Make up #5 [EYES]: Maybelline hyperSharp Liner Black

Hey ladies! I would to talk about Maybelline's HyperSharp Liner on 31-Enchantress today. I have been using this eyeliner for quite some time now and I love how it sets on my upper lid. It looks like a pen shape with a gold cover. It is very black and the eyeliner is very thin. So you can draw your upper lid how thin or thick you want it to be. However, it is not suitable to used on your lower lid. I have written reviews for some lower lid eyeliners before and more coming soon on 31-Enchantress. This eyeliner is waterproof and smudge proof. It also stays the whole day on your upper lid. There is no need to touch up. Nevertheless, if use on a daily basis, this eyeliner will finish quite fast compared to other eyeliners i have used. BUT it is totally worth the price you pay for it.

Maybelline HyperSharp eyeliner is available in all guardian and watsons store. However, I would recommend you to get it from either in Guardian or Watsons as i have seen fake products of this before.

Since i have so many wedding coming up in the family, I've decided to post about some pre-wedding rituals in a Sri Lankan (ceylonese) wedding. It is also called as ponnuruku and the gold that is used to take the thali is melted at the bridegroom's house. Apparently this is an essential ceremony and it cannot be skipped. Why Does A Ceylonese Bride Wear A Veil?

So, why does a Ceylonese bride wear a veil? I myself don't know much about the tradition. I wasn't even aware of this until a few posts came up on Facebook. I don't any reason behind all the tradition that happens in a Ceylonese wedding. In a typical Ceylon wedding, the grooms sits on the manavarai (Canopy) through out the wedding. The brides comes in after the "rakshabandham" of the groom. Trust me, i don't even know what the hell is this. So apparently the bride and groom cannot see each other until he (groom) hands the bride her "Koorai" saree (wedding saree). That is the reason why a Ceylon bride wears a veil. The whole cost of the wedding falls under the bride's responsibility. Remember my earlier post about the gold melting ceremony? That is purely the responsibility of the groom's side. I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price. but after using it i understand why it's this pricey!  I have used few small bottles (10ml) and in the midst of one 75ML bottle. I have more than half a bottle left and i used it daily (night time).  I am very stingy with my usage, i use only 2 to 3 drops which is sufficient enough to cover my whole face and neck.
